A) HOW TO START?  
  1. Go to Products tab.
  2. Click on "FREE Publications" tab.
  3. Click on one of the publications.



  4. If this is the first time e-browse is running on your PC, the e-browse plug-in will be automatically installed to your web browser. A security warning may appear when e-browse try to install the plug-in. Click Yes.
  5. You’ll see language selection. Select your preferred language and then click the OK button.
  6.  If the automatic plug-in installation failed, you can also manually download and install the plug-in . Download the plug in which is located on the e-browse landing page.


     
  7. Run or open the file, and click Yes to install the Innotive iBrowser completely.


     
  8. Click one of the FREE Publications . If empty window appears, click Install ActiveX Control.


     
  9. Select English language and then click the OK button.


  10. If you’re accessing the Internet through firewall, e-browse will show a dialog box requesting confirmation to switch to "behind firewall" mode. Click on Switch button.


     
  11. If you're still having problem viewing, please check your ActiveX setting.
   B) ACTIVEX SETTING   
  1. In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, Internet Options and Security tab. Then click Custom Level button.



  2. Make sure in the Security Settings window:



  1. Then click the OK button to commit setting changes
  2. You need to restart your web browser (Internet Explorer) for the changes to take effect.
   C) WINDOW VISTA SETTING   

To install e-browse plug-in in Windows Vista Business (64bit), the administrator's permission is required. Therefore, you must run Internet Explorer as admin by right-clicking on the Internet Explorer icon and choose "Run as Administrator".

  1. Click download plug-in and run the file until completed.
     
  2. Click Run.

  3. Click Yes
  4. Click Ok
  5. Click This program installed correctly.
  6. Click Tools, select Internet Options.
  7. Click Privacy. Uncheck the Turn on Pop-up Blocker box and choose Advanced
  8. Tick Override automatic cookie handling and tick Accept for First-party cookies and Third-party cookies. Then click Ok.
  9. Then, click your publication. Install the ActiveX Control.


  10. Once finished, refresh the page or exit and click the publication again.
   D) STEPS TO SUBSCRIBE   
  1. Login or register as e-browse member



  2. Click Add Subscriptions or Subscribe now.
     


  3. Select your preferred publication.



  4. Click on the "Buy Now" button for the preferred package.



  5. Choose payment method whether tmnet prepaid card, postpaid (streamyx/1515) or credit card. Click on Submit button.



  6. If you choose to pay using credit card, please make sure you are using Internet Explorer or else you cannot complete the payment process.



  7. Please fill in the Credit Card Holder Name and Preferred email address. Then click Submit.



  8. Please confirm the transaction details, read the T&C and then click on Yes button.



  9. The next steps will be based on the payment options as below :-


I) Prepaid Process Flow (TM Net prepaid card)
  1. Once you have confirmed the payment, you will be directed to TM Net Micropayment page. Key in the TM Net prepaid card username and password. Choose Service Type 1515.

  2. Key in the registered IC number of your 1515 account and click proceed. Once completed, the amount is deducted from your prepaid amount.

  3. You will be directed to e-browse page. If your transaction is success, you can enjoy the publication by clicking on the publication image under My subscriptions tab.

 

II) Postpaid Process Flow (Streamyx / 1515 )
  1. Once you confirm the payment, you will be directed to TM Net Micropayment page. Key in your postpaid account username and password. Choose Service Type Streamyx.



  2. Key in the registered IC number of your Streamyx account and click proceed. Once completed, the amount is charged into your next Streamyx bill.

  3. You will be directed to e-browse page. If your transaction is success, you can enjoy the publication by clicking on the publication image under My subscriptions tab.



 

III) Credit Card Process Flow (Mastercard/Visa)
  1. Fill in the User Information fields and click Submit.



  2. This page will show whether you transaction success or failed. Then click Continue.



  3. You will be directed to e-browse page. If your transaction is success, you can enjoy the publication by clicking on the publication image under My subscriptions tab.


 


IV) iTalk card process flow
  1. Once you confirm the payment, you will be directed to TM Net Micropayment page. Key in your iTalk card 12 digit number. Choose Service Type iTalk


  2. Payment information page will appear. You need to confirm your card number, current balance, services purchase and new balance by clicking Proceed button.


  3. Payment conformation page appear. You will receive a confirmation transaction and click on "Return to merchant side" button to proceed.


  4. You will be directed to e-browse page. If your transaction is success, you can enjoy the publication by clicking on the publication image under "My subscriptions" link
   E) SOLUTION TO IE8 / WINDOWS 7   
  1. Click Start --> All Programs, right click on Internet Explorer and select Run as Administrator.



  2. In Internet Explorer 8, click Tools -> Internet Options ->



  3.  Under Security section  disable "Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks".



  4. Close Internet Explorer. Restart the Internet Explore by right clicking on Internet Explorer and select Run as Administrator.



  5. Please try to view the e-paper. It will prompt you to install the plugin. Please install it again this time.



  6. After finished, please check again whether you can view the page correctly.
